Dnes v noci si povídám
S milou slečnou
S mou Samotou
A někde tam ve tmě
Cítím její přerušovaný dech

Říkám jí:
'Nikdo se ke mně nehodí
A já k nikomu nepatřím'

A ona mrká na znak souhlasu
Po chvíli odpovídá:
'Jo, tak jsem to pro tebe
vždycky chtěla.
Vždyť víš,
Že má víra je ta nejsilnější.'

Tiše si budem šeptat
Takhle až dlouho do noci
Až dlouho dokud jedna
Po druhé neusneme.
A kdo se probudí dříve?

Everyday is different.
Everyday's a chore.
Everyday i think and think and think a little more.

My mind is always racing.
Thoughts terribly askew.
Mostly all i think about is me and you.

I criticise and try to fix and wonder, on and on.
I feel like im not what u want but ponder being wrong.
Debating if it's you or me or if it's all long gone.

I know for sure I love you. Of that, there is no doubt.
Will it work or wont it work. I guess we'll just find out.

Loneliness is saying hi to people you see from your class.
Loneliness is hanging out with people but not getting anything out of it.
Loneliness is connecting with someone but you never see them again.
Loneliness is feeling alone when surrounded by people.

For just a moment
Would you slip away with me
Into dark corners of anonymity
Could we lose the fear.
The consequence.
Can you loop your fingers in mine with the simplicity of a lover
And push aside the flush of watching eyes.
Be the steady tide in my ocean of melancholy
And wash away these familiar faces
With their poison darted tongues
Glass hearts overflowing
With the bitterness of realism and lost ideals

Can we lose our pretences
Our falsities and masks
And let our minds meet in serenity
Sheltered from a world of turmoil
From wars and tears
Outward pressures and inner conflicts.
Lets live instead within honesty and earnest hearts
In hidden tracks and secret words
Where we can speak our own truths in roaring solitude
In silent riots that enflame my heart and remind my soul to sing

In this moment
Can I be nameless
Faceless
Can I disappear into the love behind your eyes
And be remade inside the warmth of your opened arms
Can I vanish from the humdrum
From the familiarity of the accepted
And walk with you down foreign streets of passion and vitality
Hand in hand
Two beacons alight with fire
Standing tall against an encroaching dusk of normality and routine

Just for now
Can we be anonymous
Can we be unknown
Maybe then we can learn to know ourselves

Save me a place at the table
My little white flower
That sways in the breeze.

Please hold my seat if you're able
I'll love you forever
After all the wine from bottle flees.

Set me a plate and I'll stay full
My hunger endeavors
Your warmth was always mine to be.

Nothing reminds me of you,
you never leave my mind.
You are not the rain
or fire
or earth
or sky
or the ether
you cannot be abstracted into oblivion
I could not do that to you
you are more than words
and concepts
you are real
and that you exsist
defies reason
you remind me of you
because nothing else comes close
only your name.

Poetry is the devil on your shoulder
who shot the angel by your left foot
and crushed its body underneath a boulder

Poetry is a cold blade against hot skin
it screams for BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD
when all you want to do is surrender

Poetry isn't love
it's violence
it's the tourniquet,
the ******,
the flash,
the sleep,
and the cold silence

Poetry is the lust you can't escape from
when you couldn't keep your hands off
each other;
when you woke up alone in an empty bed
and a cold spot on the pillow right beside you

Poetry isn't cute or sweet or pretty
She's tattooed with black hair and a whip
and leaves you heart broken, cold, and begging for
one
more
sip

What is poetry?
Trust me, you don't want to know her
She'll leave you standing in a median begging for change
while your friends stare at you sideways
and talk about you behind closed doors.

I wish that ***** would leave me
I wish she'd never left me
Baby!  Please don't ever leave me again...
