The inner spin which once spun within
Is slowly rolling on the outside
And interest wanes into a feathery sunset
Above a vague horizon

Questions cascade into a mist of dreams
Without purpose or need of answers
There are other things to do
I'll smile if you want me to

Standing alone by a closed window
Just watching nothing happen
Writing on the misted glass
Slowly falling
Away

                              By Phil Roberts
I'm sorry to have been away so long. I've been busy being lazy :)
once then a time been a morn' shine a day grown
into a full year it seems stunningly glare-ing
me into a sudden reality
it spoke commonly about
a heart and a wink a kiss a soft shoulder
pink
on a bank of a river flowed
small animals testaments
they gathered round
for this was magical
a story of
many textual diddy contraptions and she
was sure
me was her one
and it hearted warmed calmed me
and felt me like I needed
all surety and  conceptions with dreams
all colliding
in stardust dreams and moonbeams
with moon pies and hot coffee
and confessions
penetrations are awaiting
ears are amazing
The wind blows
The stars glow
The river flows
As I walk slow

The moon is dim
I know I miss him

Rolling down tears
Missing him for years
I wish he hears
And combats my fears

The moon will soon shine
I know he is mine

Night creatures sing
Fireflies fly in ring
With bright colored wings
Along with their king

The moon is clear and bright
I know my heart beats right

Love is not an expectation
It's the heart's reaction
A decision, a feeling of hesitation
But true is this beautiful relation

Your aura spills into my half empty soul
I'm pessimistic, I refuse to believe it's half full
You know when we hold hands for too long and our palms get clammy?
Well I don't mind, the sweat reminds me of the anxiety I had when I first met you
How you turned that anxiety into comfort
How that comfort completes me
It's not that my soul was broken
It just wasn't fully developed
I know you
Your voice plays a familiar song
Your smile tells a familiar story
I hadn't heard that story in a long time
But now I recite it every time you cross my mind
I smile
Your aura spilled into my half empty soul
No longer do I feel incomplete
he started the banjo man did plinkin'
amid the heavy drag of a slow cool
bass harmony strung out on a long low note,
it sounded like nails on a chalkboard at first
or a cat in heat mewing loud in the alley
and crescendoed into a full blown
attack on my sanity my notions
as he plunked away and chorded a falsetto guitar note
like eric clapton playing a ukelele
drugged out the clanking E
called out a G
then faster he took me as the bass fought to accompany
along an a fast tweedling dee
and a C that cried liked birds
and the blues fans applauded the folk singers sat agape the rock singers sang Hallejuah
and the minstrels swayed
so many fast
f'ing F's  G's B's flats and concordances
it was like a thousand harps from heaven turned loose in fast forward
and I ****** him
**** banjo man
that was good
