Lit
Only one life,
Live it
Or keep
Waiting,
And
Regret it,
Never lose
Sight of
What gets
You lit.
This is a little poem about living life and following one's dreams. :)  "What gets you lit," refers to your  passion...no reference to cigarettes or **** here, lol.   Hey, but if that is what gets you lit, it is a free country.

It'll Be

Here, one day we’ll meet.
It’ll be the first time,
To catch your glance.
It’ll be the first time,
To touch your hand.
Do happy endings
Really exist?
Would you wait for me?
For the second
We meet?
It’ll be the first time,
To hear your laugh.
I’ll be the first time,
To say hello forever.
You’ll be the one to
Stay by my side
Until the end of
Our time
Together.
This poem is one  that describes what many can relate to... waiting to meet that person that will complete your life, the one.  I'm still young, almost 36, but sometimes it feels like a lot of my friends and family have found their partners in life.  It is easy to get discouraged, but don't lose hope!  People meet their matches every day... tomorrow is a new day full of possibilities. <3

as our days turn into nights
our weeks into months
and our months into years
one truth remains
i’d wish on every milky way
in the sky to spend just a moment
in real time with you...

I feel like I'm at the age in my life
where I don't know if I'm
Cheap,
Poor,
Or extremely resourceful.

Fur Coat

My anxiety is a large fur coat.
Its made of dead things
But it keeps me safe from the elements.
I overheat, most likely because I keep it on too much.
I don't want to risk a sudden cold front.
I don't want to ever be exposed to the elements again.
Something that started as a 6 word story. Then grew.
