Fear

They say that fear's a bad thing
But I know some fear is good
It makes you change the way you think
From the way you usually would

It can make you run from danger
Or stop you in your tracks
Allow you to protect yourself
From what you know is bad

The fear that you will hurt someone
Is what makes you bite your toung
Knowing you can't take back the words
Once the damage has been done

You can fear the future or the past
And not allow your life to change
Or face your fear and understand
You choose the path you take

So the next time that you're feeling fear
Know it could be something good
Fear can be the best part of life
Once its understood
FEAR

One day,
I'll be there,
With the rest.

Just sitting there,
Waiting
Amongst the rest.

Fading and forgotten,
Near a cleft.

Sitting Amidst,
A Thieving Quest.

One day,
I'll be there,
With the rest.

Just sitting there,
Waiting
Amongst the rest.

But now,
Inscribed
By your Flesh.

I am Alive,
But Dispossessed.

One day,
I'll be there,
With the rest.

Fading and forgotten,
Amongst the rest.

Just sitting there,
Waiting
Near a cleft.

Knowing my existence,
Is none the less;

A meaningless scroll,
For those who are blessed.

They can see through the glass
Our lips are dripping blood
From telling all these lies
And we both know
That we've really done it this time

Inevitable
Broken hearts and empty promises.

Eyes closed, minds tore wide open.

Hopes up, and I'm thrown down.

You left me again, without a ******* sound.
in the stillness
my restless mind
is cradled by

I Know

I know that in this universe, we are not alone
I know that the world is far from perfect, but serenity isn’t impossible
I know freedom comes with a price tag
I know that we aren’t created equal
I know you have to earn trust
I know that we can’t always get along
I know that you have to accept people
I know that family is forever
I know love can be not just a word but a feeling
I know that you have to accept yourself, and soon be what you want to become

Behind you
may be bad
      memories,
lost friends and family,
    big mistakes,
even bigger embarrassment,
      lonely times,
sad times,
      but the past,
helps your future,
      become better
and your spotless
      future
is all that lies
      ahead

I care about
your open future
not your muddy past.
Your heart size,
not your pant size.
Your good qualities
and accept the bad
Your words,
not your nails
You're just you
and that's all that matters

W. H. Auden
As I walked out one evening,
Walking down Bristol Street,
The crowds upon the pavement
Were fields of harvest wheat.

And down by the brimming river
I heard a lover sing
Under an arch of the railway:
"Love has no ending.

"I'll love you, dear, I'll love you
Till China and Africa meet,
And the river jumps over the mountain
And the salmon sing in the street,

"I'll love you till the ocean
Is folded and hung up to dry
And the seven stars go squawking
Like geese about the sky.

"The years shall run like rabbits,
For in my arms I hold
The Flower of the Ages,
And the first love of the world."

But all the clocks in the city
Began to whirr and chime:
"O let not Time deceive you,
You cannot conquer Time.

"In the burrows of the Nightmare
Where Justice naked is,
Time watches from the shadow
And coughs when you would kiss.

"In headaches and in worry
Vaguely life leaks away,
And Time will have his fancy
To-morrow or to-day.

"Into many a green valley
Drifts the appalling snow;
Time breaks the threaded dances
And the diver's brilliant bow.

"O plunge your hands in water,
Plunge them in up to the wrist;
Stare, stare in the basin
And wonder what you've missed.

"The glacier knocks in the cupboard,
The desert sighs in the bed,
And the crack in the tea-cup opens
A lane to the land of the dead.

"Where the beggars raffle the banknotes
And the Giant is enchanting to Jack,
And the Lily-white Boy is a Roarer,
And Jill goes down on her back.

"O look, look in the mirror?
O look in your distress:
Life remains a blessing
Although you cannot bless.

"O stand, stand at the window
As the tears scald and start;
You shall love your crooked neighbour
With your crooked heart."

It was late, late in the evening,
The lovers they were gone;
The clocks had ceased their chiming,
And the deep river ran on.
