One grave to be opened up.
Two urns to be placed inside.
Three remnants of loved ones to forever rest.

One headstone to be adorned with three inscriptions,
Engraved words on stone as cold as the chills of death;
Names that can't be whispered without feeling the heart ache
With the hollow pit of loss, a black hole of despair.

Two family members following Death in quick succession,
As if they had already decided not to separate from each other.
Yet the comfort those thoughts bring to the living
Fall short, blocked out by the deeply-felt loss.

Three loved ones now eternally together;
Two vulnerable daughters and their ever-loving mother.

tranquil
there is no song which time could sing
no chords of reason memories string
and though our moments bittersweet
could gnargled **** amusingly..

to kiss the knives in dark of nights
that cut us up in wrongs and rights
carve us into plainer shapes
homely, drier, commonplace..
remember each and every stance
by whims and fancies or by chance,
what drives us part is neither stars
or vague and placid fate of ours
in solace ; peace amid the pain
and spirits worming in embrace
what does soar high in tops of trees
in flash of silent tranquil breeze

through greens of promised merriment
while branching arms in wonders spread
lets close our eyes and find the rhyme
but not in stars, in heart this time.
an old poem
Walking through the garden
Feel the moss between my toes
Butterflies wings fluttering
Landing on a rose

Hosta leaves holding water
Enough for a snail to drink
The feeling here so tranquil
It gives me time to think

Sitting under the cherry tree
Soaking up the sun
Two dragonflies dancing
Looks like they're having fun

As I continue down the path
I came across a tree
Initials carved in the bark
Made by you and me

It's here where we had our first kiss
Its here where we fell in love
Sometimes I come here to this spot
To pray to God above

Thankful for this day
And all the promise it brings
Enjoying this precious moment
While the songbird sings

As this special time wains
And I rejoin my life
I'll carry this moment with me
As long as your my wife
