Barely a few years out the womb
Already they seek to entomb
To drag me by my feet
To fulfill the ends they seek

Riddle me this
With a flavorless kiss
Words whispered to my ears
******* away my human bliss

I want to be free
But they place me
In a numbers game
With many a name

Dear Lord!
With your empty words
I am a number on a list
Each contributing to this ever-growing cyst

Test me, test me
Let me see
"Learn what we teach"
I say practice what you preach
You leech

Government daycare
Slowly killing their clientele
The ones who came unwilling
Shackled in laws
Under scrutinizing stares
Of the systems eariler products
The ones who need to be molded
To fuel the ever growning hellfire

Turn The Wheel!
Be a Cog!

Our beasts of burden
Seeds for the next crop
Reaped, to grow our grain
To labor in vain
While we grow fat
Lard-laden

Why do we subject ourselves to this
When right in our grasp
Is bliss?

It'd only require
An amount most dire
Blood made green
Filled with rottings of evil hearts

A rip has appeared
The fabric torn
A new piece pit in place
Whole again

But sooner or later
It's more patch than not
The original
Long forgot

Then only thread
Patches of patches of such
Is it even fabric now?

People seem to think
Patches never fail
But it can't last forever

Some even try
To use patched patches
To fix another

But all fabric
Wears thin

Perhaps a common feeling
Or perhaps I am alone
To feel as if you're fading

A friend losing interest
A lover moving on
No words of clear rejection
Yet you feel it in the air

It feels as if you need to fight
To constantly gain favor
A filler presence

Many ways to do this
Laughter
Material

Keep them invested
Why do I need to try?
Is it true friendship?
Simply life

Look at the youth
Ever so uncouth
Yelling all the while

Look at the geezers
Asthmatic wheezers
Placing down restrictions

Our time is soon
Soon ends our noon
Teach the children our ways

Leave us be
So we may see
To find our own devices

I'd much rather
That you'd gather
And follow in our steps

Leave us alone
To find life's path on our own
Let us tend our own sails

We were never that dumb
We are not numb
In age and wisdom we improve

We will never be that dry
And yet with Time's sigh
The new are old
And repeat so bold
The words they sought to defy

There once was a well
Every year, one wish would be granted
Bestowed upon the first
To put a drop of their blood
Into the dark depths

A king with great armies
Conquered the sacred place
And claimed the well as his own

He alone could wish
To preserve his power and position

A thief observed
Through the crystal window
A tiny glass bottle
Where the king's blood will be stored
Through ceremony, dropped into the well

The dark figure mixes his blood
In with the royal *******
Then awaits his time
Soon to come

Down flows the two droplets
Mixed into one
The king feels odd
The rush he recieved
Is less
Yet, it is said
"Let my kingdom reign,
With me at the helm"

The thief
Recieving his power in turn
Graces the shadow's ears
With simple words

"Let it all fall,
And all it's powers
So we may be free"

With all my heart, body, and soul
Lone wolf I annul
Them I extol
No matter the toll

Together we stand
In many different ways
Holdin on to your hand
Till the end of these golden days

Some are short
Some will last long
Some are only heartbreak
Some never break

Friends, lovers
Who cares the type
As long as I
Stay by my rock's side

Don't you just love
The little bits of life
That often go unoticed

The feel of the morning mist
A stranger remembering a long ago encounter
Fresh peppernuts after sitting in the oven
The laughter of a quiet friend
The late night ideas of a sleep-deprived mind
When the one you love catches your eye
Being told a secret
The satisfying thump of an old couch being sat on

I really love these moments
