A Mothers Love
Kassanda Esparza Dec 2014
Beauty fades,
Personality doesn't last.
Friends leave,
As time passes fast.
Trust is broken,
Lovers lie and deceive.
Only she loves you unconditionally,
From the day you were conceived.
She watched you grow up,
And you'll watch her grow old.
All those secrets she kept,
And the stories she told.
She held you hand tight,
In the dark at night.
Provided you with comfort,
After you had a fight.
But beauty faded,
And youth flew away.
People left you,
With nothing to say.
You take her hand,
And she promised to never let you fall,
Because it's a mothers move that out lives it all.
For my mom. Any feedback would be great, good or bad. Thank you.

Something.
Kassanda Esparza Dec 2014
Baby I'm always stress'n
It feels like it's life I'm miss'n.
I just take a few more,
Laying down on the floor
Waiting until I can't breathe no more.
It's finally sinking in,
Can't feel my own skin.
Watching the shadow take me in,
It's this battle I can't win.
I'm holding on real tight
I squeeze your neck with all my might
I finally lose sight,
Fade into the darkness like it's the light.
Something I wrote in April 2013.
Any feed back would be great!:) just let me know what you think. Bad or good.
