Off on my morning stroll to Pride Park I go
A squirrel dashes from the path, up the tree and out a branch
It leaps and flies unto another tree
The trail has just started what else lies ahead for me
The smell of honeysuckle fills the air
The birds and the crows are all I hear
A little further, a turtle sits in the middle of the trail
Holding its head high, proud to be there
My best friend Duke and I snake around this wooded trail
We take in the sights and the smells in the air
We walk along waiting for the sun to rise
Then arising between the trees, a new beginning right before our eyes
