Ranita
I desperately need to scream
Feel myself breathe again
Claw this parasite out of me
Tear what’s left to shreds

I want to say
That I’d give up my soul
Just to be needed
But that isn’t true

Is it
But also a little too real

Yanamari
Rock the boat,
  I'm fine
Little waves won't hurt me.

Rock the boat
    I'm fine;
What are a few more,
  I can handle it.

Rock the boat
       I'm fine
   I'm fine...
I can handle it

Rocking
    rocking
   rocking
         rocking
      To and fro
                Overflow-
                      Underwater, can't breathe--
               Overhauled, overstretched
             Inhale
          Deep breath
I'm fine...
hated writing this

Veronica
I just want to
Taste your love kissing me
See your hands reach for me
Hear your soul sing for me
Feel your heart beat for me
I just need you to
Let me love you
Like I was always meant to
Or will you always be
Just a beautiful dream
For me to long for
But never reach?
In the Hippie days
American destruction
by Columbia U ways
C and P instruction
brought us to knees
beat the middle class
poor take our keys
USA was a flash.
Cloward and Piven and Obama
Tea
I guess I'll go make a cup of tea
Because sometimes it feels like
You have time for all of them, but not for me
I'll be here waiting for you to see my messages.

August
He gave me dead flowers
So I can smell them every day
The rotten petals falling
The color of decay

The washed out sunflower
The dehydrated leaves
The mold on the water
The color of debris

The richly red rose
Now drooping to the floor
The color of love
Existed no more

But still I saved the flowers
And smelled them every day
And watered them with tears
To let them grow again.

I'm tired
You know?
And just so very
Very
Alone
there is nothing quite like the devastation
of seeing yourself reflected in a window
that looks in on a happiness
that is not your own.
my heart feels like it's choking
