Raindrop tears filled her eyes,
They were of profound joy,
Her son had come to see her.
Soon, her smile spoke of silent pain,
He did not stay long.

Is it ok if i push further
Further so i could get a place in your heart
Faster so you could let me into your life
Act weaker so you could see how vulnerable i am when around you
Or stronger so you could notice the brave in me as i say , "i love you."

She looked at him like he was the sun,
In that she never looked at him,
Except out of frustration.

She complained when he was gone,
But she never looked.

On days he was stronger, she hid from him
On days he was muted, she complained.

She never looked at him until he was leaving,
And in the beauty of the sunset she wondered how,
She'd never seen him before

You pretend to be happy even when your sad inside and I fall for it
Act like you don't need my company & yet you do
Blame me even when nothing is wrong & I say sorry
I believe whatever you say even when I know it isn't true
It's like you cast a spell that addled me when with you
Maybe I'm desperate
Maybe I'm sheepishly falling for you even when your flaws are more sinister than the devil's own
Unconditional love orchestrated by all means your irresistible
Give me reasons to believe this is genuine love and not an infatuation.
