I am splintered
      Into thousands
Of fragments
      and lost in the void
Of my own self.
      Pieces of me
Were found
      In soulless places
And where my mind rests.
      I hope to find
The solace that I sought
      In the void
Where I’ll be.
      To rest in darkness
And to disappear into
      The abyss.

One
“One”

There’s no two...
Three...
Four...
And a million numbers more.

It’s just me
In a blank story.

I’m the protagonist,
Antagonist,
and the supporting characters.

I’m the hater,
The lover,
And the troubled.

I’m just another figure,
In another chapter,
Of the same story.
Thank you for supporting my first poem! Here’s one that I wrote while I was alone...like always...

"Genuine Smile"

Behind the smile of a broken child,
Fear and pain showering it's mind.
Groping on a rope and walking on ice,
It was time for her to say goodbye.

Perhaps her smile seemed nothing less.
A lifeless girl looking powerless.
A smile she showed before she left,
A genuine smile in her safe palms rest.

Asleep inside her valuable chest,
Promises bestowed upon her safe nest.
Slowly fading from the cruel world,
Memories of her became a blur.
This is my first poem posted in HePo and It’ll be lovely if you give comments about it. I’ll surely improve in the future as I write
