Clear mind

I took a walk tonight
It’s 31 degrees outside
I just needed to clear my head
To hit a reset
Now I’m just awake in bed
And my nose is cold
But at least my tears have dried up

Jealousy
 Nov 2019 Emma
Jane
It sits heavy on my heart
Stirs up my stomach
Twists me into knots
And I hate it.

Putrifaction in my veins
Rotting away my soul
Tearing my confidence to shreds
Digging deeper, desperate to taint.

Shiny. New. Small. Wanted.
Everything I'm not.
Dependable doesn't beckon bedfellows
When the unknown waltzes by in satin and ***.

Monstrous. Ever-present. Bellowing.
Inescapable are the doubts and fears
The panging need to be seen and held
As I was way back when.

A note to my self
not to mingle
when the workmen's tools
are echoing

Wait
until they have gone
and the unsettling spell
is over and done

Me
No more lies
or games
no shame taken
on

I am
what I am
and will
with no fibre of me
adjust
just to make you feel
better.

Triste
She met an artist
His fingers were made of gold
They moved like brush strokes
She was an empty canvas
His portrait of rainbow tears

The morning creeping up on a tired night
 This notion dawns on me.

The last conversation we had
It's memory still tears me to tears
Tearing at my soul
My happiness now raging
It's feelings is spitting mad.

Devoid of emotions
Your eyes hollow like the dead of night
Your words frosty and so cold
My heart frozen has given up it's fight.

We were in lust
Our souls constantly craving intamacy
Emotions dacayed and turned to rust
Smiling momories tainted
Deceased
It has turned to dust.
When all you have tainted memories,
Your heart feeling lost
You cloaked in this treachery
All you can do is drive forward
And hope you don't crash
In this nightmarish reverie.

From today until yesterday
From now until forever
I'll be walking here beside you
I'll be walking here whenever

And when you come to crossroads
Whatever road you choose
Take comfort in the fact
That ill be walking next to you

In times of strife
In times of famine
Times of loss and woe
Wherever you decide to wander
That is where I go

Through mountains breaking through the clouds
And valleys far below
whenever you decide to travel
I'll be there through wind and snow

And when it comes the time to end
This journey you have done
I will be right by your side
For our journey has just begun
