Calli Kirra Oct 2013
2003, where did you go?
My Scene dolls and All Time Low
Red Jeeps and glitter cheeks
Thirteen and hip hop beats
Tube tops, pop n lock
Don't forget your frosted lipgloss
Butterflies and Blink's First Date
"Forever Yours" on a silver keychain
Belly rings, snorting pills stings
Tiered skirts and ankle bling
TLR, Summerland
South of Nowhere, Degrassi: The Next Gen
Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton
Travis Barker and Ashlee Simpson
Fall Out Boy and Timbaland
Pete Wentz almost ended it
Promiscuous, Grand Theft Autumn
Jeans hung low, and girl you got em
I wanna live there over again
Everything was better then
MicMag Nov 2018
Don’t plead like Biebs
Timbaland was right
Too late for "sorry"
Can’t erase the blight
Your apologies
Might seem polite
But all your white lies
Have been brought to light
Selfish transgressions
Brought this plight
Upon your own life
Despite the height
Of your own success
Now it seems so trite
As they kick you out
Into the cold, dark night

Mistakes explode
Like dynamite
As your life ignites
Failures burn so bright
Crashing down in fury
Dead meteorite
You feel the pain
Your enemies delight
Nowhere to hide
Your shame in plain sight

Adrenaline surging
Now it’s fight or flight
So just take a sec
Sit down, rewrite
Reset your future
Set yourself upright
Your values and actions
Gotta reunite
Redemption’s hard
No way to expedite
It’s gonna hurt
But hang in tight

Listen to stories as I spill
Cuz this something that's too **** real
Hard for you to dodge my lyrical collage
So step with me into this reality first
I woke up then I looked up
I see it's a l
Past quarter to nine
And woodys on
At twelve
But forget that verse cuz it was only the spirits in a thirst
Called up a few homies while I'm laying in the bed
Watchin' Wilma and Fred then a thought occured to my head
I told my boys we should go out
Maybe a stripper club or diner
But either way we need to roll out
So I got dressed made sure I was good looking
Check the mirror even it was shooken
Got a make move moving real fast ya see
Cuz I gotta my Posse to G -E -T

My Posse on MLK My Posse on MLK
My Posse On MLK

Now once I pulled up in the ******* truck
Ya know the big Tahoe where I tie hoes? Get it
Naw I'm just clowning thinkin a groove so we can start soundin'
Off to beat our vocals meet
We acting real silly up goes the dilly
They playing throwback of Magoo and Timbaland on the track
Way back up jumps the boogie all in me
Now I'm amped with my Posse
We ready to get it crackin'
And no stoppin' us G
Like Reggie Miller on three top of key
Where we all love to meet
We check each other make sure we fresh
Cuz the girlies love to test the way we dress
So we now in the street bass bumpin' with the beat
Gotta admit I had to roll up a swisher sweet
Nothing to see here haters cuz we gettin ready to raid ya

My Posse on MLK My Posse on MLK
My Posse On MLK

As we make into the club I'm feeling real good
But I hate that songs scrubs
Girls stop fronting djs cutting
Got everybody in the club jumpin'
Mens is grinding on girls behinds and
And there me and posse in long line and
Next thing ya know they move us to the front row
VIP status man I'm feeling the baddest
Once we got on set
I told the dj to change the rec so I can show em
How cold me and posse gets
Once I touch the mic their  was a long silence
Microphone screeching
But stop once the rhymes started preaching
Everybody nodding having a good time
Out comes the rhymes break em every time
Throwin' hards thrills so ya better chills
Or else my Posse going to rearrange ya grill
Now that ya in a trance with my music
That's makes ya dance
And all this time they had nothing to say
Cuz my Posse to Ill from MLK
Karen May 2016
I just woke up from a fuzzy dream
You never would believe the things that I have seen
I looked in the mirror and I saw your face
You looked right through me, you were miles away

All my dreams, they fade away
I'll never be the same
If you could see me the way you see yourself
I can't pretend to be someone else

You always love me more, miles away
I hear it in your voice, miles away
You're not afraid to tell me, miles away
I guess we're at our best, miles away

When no one is around then I have you here
I begin to see the picture, it becomes so clear
You always have the biggest heart
When we're 6.000 miles apart

Too much of no sound
Uncomfortable silence can be so loud
Those three words are never enough
When it's long distance love

You Always love me more, miles away
I hear it in your voice, miles away
You're not afraid to tell me, miles away
I guess we're at our best, miles away
So far away,

I'm alright
Don't be sorry, but it's true
When I'm gone, you realize
That I'm the best thing that happened to you

You always love me more, miles away
I hear it in your voice, miles away
You're not afraid to tell me, miles away
I guess we're at our best, miles away, so far away.

Lyrics from Madonna's song "Miles Away",  I have enjoyed the song for many years, thought others might too.
MADONNA lyrics are property and copyright of their owners. Written by Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Danja and Timbaland. (2008).
Treat my pen independent stuck to a paper sentence
Its like jail time written haters still hittin' and shittin'
mad cuz I'm strengthening curve the lengthening
To the heights of china great walls guns brawls
Equates to ya downfall standing tall no close calls?
Humpty Dumpty they tried to turn me into
But this shell hard to crack dipped in black skin
Sage to sin reliving my past with the kins spins
A jazz ragtime tunes i turn ****** tunes
Stay huntin like Daniel Boone wrapped Ina caccoon
Couldn't break the butterfly effect whos next?
We got checks to flex and pecs with bullets to inject
Though I may come off picky number one like Ricky
Bobby if ya not first ya last tryna miss the cask
Keep the Jason mask for the simple task
Eight heads in a dufflebags along with toetags
For emcees i had to bag dont mean to brag
From guns that don't jet lag still leaning on a stag
Hate **** maxed out Benz's to jags price rags
dont mean nothing well feelin' like sonnys cartel
Cuz my clan spark gats well make melons swell
Attitude rude like the Dutch in a kind mood
I'm in the groove water filling up empty cracks
From my flow penetrating mother nature's vessels

All known savage lavish havoc forcing gavage
Stomachs ya food for thought most love to be caught up
Under the worlds display i delay spray AKs
If you try to walk hard this way changing days
Mother nature has to obey what a creator says
Still sippin' tangeray blunt to my mouths singin' Olè
They don't want no doomsday either way
I'll still pave a way industry heirloom bloom
Gossipers into a room sudden Kabooms
Grenade rock smokin off the clocks of Glocks
It dont stop sick with our war paths no laughs
Cant dodge the draft invitation too deaths blood craft cremations
Ashes to dust put no trust let the oxygen rust
From the steels ya body feels keep a head shield
For fools aimmin' at my crown it goes down
Hallow point joints let the lyrics annoint
Could even make Tut jump out of the tombs
Timbaland boots matching the Lexus coupe
I'm from Texas where killaz stay forever reckless
30 inch plus necklaces from million dollar chexes
Roll me with the ravioli feelin' like Stoney
Jackson get mad bed action chicks in satisfaction
Lavish lifestyles i pile with much fatal attractions
