"occations" poems
If I balance on a tight rope
Will my existence be sweeter than if
I topple this way and that
I think my lesson is in trying to stay
grounded whilst still balancing
Maybe I could on occations
topple off and sit awhile enjoying
What lies just past my veiw of thinking
And then maybe you would be so kind
To take my hand whilst I steady myself
Ready for the next topple this way or that

Crush your bones into a fine powder
Twit your mind in little strings, tie and tangle them
Gouge out your eyes, lie about sight
Shred your limbs, tie them like bows
Rip off your nails, glue on plastic
Keep lying
Keep it up
Stop breathing
Your lungs are just birthday balloons
Only needed for special occations

He buried his life in a pile of books,
And blinded himself from dainty looks.
He buried his life in many educations,
Absented himself from youthful occations.
His aquaintances called him folly,
As on soothing nights they got jolly.
His closest friends carried the burden with him,
As his chances of love grew dim.
In those soothing nights, with the book,
All his lifetime he took
Trying to figure out the puzzle of life,
But then the answer was worth more than life!
