"ingulfed" poems
A phantom kisser leans down to kiss my lips as he presses himself against my timid body, allowing me to let go.
Fear ingulfed fades away,
Replaced by peace.
Mind and body collide,
Set aside the hurt.
So far and distant,
But so close all the same.
A phantom kisser,
So far and near.
And oh so dear.

I wilt
Slowly perishing under my mask made of smooth silk. Grasping for control
To make peace
And let my ashes settle.
Condemned beneath my skin
Scorched by boiling blood.
Eager, yearning for acceptance.
My timid mind plastered by paranoia,
Ingulfed with fright and pitiful confidence.
Head spinning
People looking
Thoughts crazed.
The silence outside settles
And begins to deafen.

I remember the first time I saw you
You were with your girlfriends and I was with my homies
When our eyes met, we thought we were meant to be
We were together for a long time
However fate had something else in store for us
Our time together was long
But the time we spent apart felt like years
My memories start to shatter around me
However I start to recollect them
While doing so I start to remember those precious memories we had shared
You're my heart, my blood, my passion
You're my sun, my moon
You're the key to unlocking me sealed heart
You're my light that flashes in my sadness ingulfed in total darkness
Finally realizing how much you're worth to me
I want to hold you tight once more
Never letting you go anywhere else
Because without you with me
I'll start to crumble and turn into ashes and disappear from our world
Seeing you once again
My heart starts to skip a beat again
However I sudden lose my balance and collapse onto the cold ground
I'm starting to feel numb all around my body
When you saw me you start running towards me while crying
I wish I could of told you instead
I had only one month left to live and decided to spend it with you
But that's okay cause today I had a final glimps at your beautiful face
Knowing how much you care for me, I'll always protect you from now onwards for all eternity

That moment when a REALLY cute boy walks by you at work
and suddenly you are ingulfed in his Cologne.
