It's what it's not

your last nerve
frayed

or  your life like a baby tooth
hanging by a thread

or the train wreck or
the accident on the highway

you cannot
look away from

and it is not and never will be
staring into the abyss

with no light
at the end of the tunnel

Life with you was like a
Q&A session.

Allow me to reveal the true reason for my mis-understanding of you, today;

I had the feeling that,on many occasions, you shared your thoughts with me even before they had a chance to take proper shape in your head.

She gripped my feet firmly
so that my dream of
soaring into the sky become
a reality.

Gossip was delightful.
The daily congregation
Kept everyone in  high spirits.
Reputations of men and
women of high order
were ripped to shreds.
The gossipers dispersed
only after discovering a villain
in the group who had broken the
group code with a malicious gossip about a group member.

A pet dog, abandoned
in a desolate place,
searches for its
heartless owner.

What if the next pandemic
hits food crops?

The sky has turned grey.
Is Mother Earth getting old?

Fatal attractions.
Allure of beauty.
Images entice the mind.
Logic overwhelmed by
Creative instincts.
Resistance offered at first.
A tame surrender in the end.
Nature is self creating.
