In the mirror there's a reflection
An image of your physique that can be seen even from a far
With a crack, the view is divided
All that shows is phases of you
In my brown eyes there's you
Only when closer can you see you
Whirling as the wind
Soothing as the breeze
Cold as ice
Tense all the time
Chills all over her skin
A little warmth is what she needs
Another drop from the sky
And blankets are all over her skin
Tears of the sky
The heavens cry out loud
She's been sad for a while
And now let's it all out
Falling gracefully at a pace
The flowers set to embrace
The joy & peace that rolls over when it finally comes to life
Breathe in refreshing air & wake up to see the sunny bright rays
Look at the azure & it's clear, so visible that you'd want to strain your eyes & catch a glimpse at the heavens
A heart
that
loves flowers a beautiful mind.

A heart
that
hates destroys it
Don't fall for my suit and tie
It doesn't mean I'm rich
Just trying
to dress the wounds inside
That could be ugly to your eyes
Some battles are better off fought alone
Regardless of the pain, you don't give up and become food for scavengers
You fight on your own because not everyone has a good heart like yourself
You cover the scars for no-one is interested in knowing how they came about
But you don't distance yourself from the world
You always keep it close and never lose possession of your human self
Remember the times we used to sneak out at night
To go and catch fireflies
Grab a jacket and cup of coffee on nights that were cold
Chess was the game for getting ourselves new friends
New faces before signing up for Facebook
That was our way
Trying to fit in
Each chance we got was always ruined
We had to build our world
Not minding being rich or poor
White or black
Tall or short
Long as we always looked out for each other
For we had us and that was beautiful
And it mattered
A flashback of good olden days that we've outgrown but wish we could go back and keep living that way
