Crying at 4:37 am
Hoping to fall
No, not asleep
But from a building
It no longer hurts to smile
I  made some new friends
Stating the obvious
I am happy now

Pearl
I held her gaze for a fleet second
Her look so intense
Sitting alone our minds speak
Beyond love we traveled
It’s not in touch or nearness
Much beyond love calls
Where can I abide for such love
Carries me into horizons...

Muse

Nigdaw
my muse teases me
with the faintest of smiles
then is gone
unrequited love
leaving a sweet taste
of what could
if only be

torturing my mind with ideas
fantasies
when put on paper
turn to epitaphs
where another train of thought
has died

I have to coax
bring out of the shadows
the beauty she has
for me
that I may write enlightened
set free
She claims she is her hero
Just stay a size zero
She promises her happiness
Here we go, back to this
There's no way to shut her out
She feeds you with self doubt
Will there ever come a day
That she'll really go away...
