She lived in a haze
Of happy days
Till somehow she lost the sun

Lost in dark mist
Finally she tripped
Little pieces of her fell, one by one

Couldn't explain from the inside
To everyone else on the outside
That something was truly wrong

So she filled the holes
With the stories she told
And ended better than as she had begun

I think I'll go for a wander
Taking a left or right,
whichever way takes longer

Down a road I've never seen
To an adventure I've never imagined
And become something I've never been

Doesn't matter where or when
As long as I come back different
Wanderers find all the best stories

My heart
                  dropped

When I saw how of me
Was my fear...

Until I realized the rest of me
Was how I fought it

And I decided that all of my future
Will be how I beat it
Even the worst things can bring good

Did you think we'd
Love you less
When you put your flaws on display?

As if they could ever
Be comparable
To even one of the reasons we stay?

They are dust on diamonds
One day they will see what you see and that is the day you cry for joy :)

And if everything has an exception
Where the rule does not apply
Then why not you and I

Because no world of us is ever possible
Where our paths cross and never untwist
Except the one that is
So now we wait for the almost impossible

A cliffhanger without a conclusion

So many plot holes left hollow

No dandelion wishes can fix this

Because the storm that blew through
took them and you too

And as loyal as you were, you had to leave first

How many of your ripples of change remain?

What of all the loose ends you left behind my friend?

So many questions and no answers to mention

But among all that I don't know, this I do

That for as long as I live, the world won't forget you
In honor of Gary Yamamoto
Until we meet again my friend

I wonder,

For those so talented and so seen

That they seem to stand above and apart

Do you wish the distance between

The world and stars, wasn't quite so far?
