Dear God,
Why does my heart feel so many emotions?
Why can't my mouth name them?
Why is it so powerful, like my heart's churned, squeezed and tears being stored in my throat,
So painful but it's not death.

Now that I'm seeing it without searching for any meaning,
The world doesn't seem that bad.

I'm someone to you,
That I never had when I needed.

I want a place,
From where
I never want to escape anymore.

I was in a rush this morning,
Trying to catch up with someone,
In the middle of my hurry,
A little girl grabbed my hand
Putting me to a halt,
She asked me to take a picture
Of her happy family and hers,
I denied it with a smile and told her was in a hurry,
The way the Little girl looked at me,
Is all over my mind and place now,
I wish I took a minute and saved my life.
