Life is a long journey
I am run out of petrol.
Shall I carry on walking
Or think about flying?
Fly in your mind
You might find
A way to help me
Reach my  destination.
Faraway away from my imagination.

lights flicker
in the distance
far far below

I’m here
looking down on it all
wrapped in a blanket
a book lies next to me
pages flipping themselves
in the cool summer breeze
inside are the sounds of life
outside are the sounds
of the questioning
the air is filled
with random notes
fluttering around me
like guardian angels
I know why they’re here

darkness
sat down
next to me
to keep me company
we look at the flickering lights
in the distance
he tells me
you’d do fine down there
if you wanted to
be a light
surrounded by light
but then he shifts his gaze
the moonlight
dancing through his being
but you’d do great
up there
be a light
where no one has dared to be
and with that
he left
I was wearing my dungarees
Sitting by the river
Despite my high fever.
Looking at the geese.
Laughing at their waddle
As if coming back from a lost battle
I tried to keep mum
While drinking my favorite ***.
I looked back
I saw  her sitting under a tree
She was playing the flute
Something strange started to move
From the head to the foot.
Her music made me hammered
I turned left and right
As if losing an eternal fight.
I was not nosy
But I felt drowsy.
My heart was on ice
Like poisoned mice.
I walked to her to pry
She asked
Why do you cry?
Your flute made me die.
I replied
Why do you titter?
I asked
Cause life is so bitter. "
She tittered.
It’s the end of the world, as we know it
So hurry, hold me close and we can slow it

Beneath a burning sky, lets hold the other
Forget the fights and heartaches, my lover

Meet me down that alley, where we first met
where the fire hasn’t spread there yet

Let us speak the things that remain unsaid
and sit our hearts down, inside our head

Can I call you ‘my wife’, before the end?
There may not be a morrow, but we can pretend

Let’s find a church before they’re burned to the ground
Make our vows before the sky falls down

Take my hand and run through the streets
Sing our love before the chaos proceeds

Play the tune that we’ll always remember
dance beneath a red moon, now or never

The world may think we're a little mad
yet, it’s the best of days we’ve ever had

You and I, my love, are forever
it’s not over till we’re over

Out of the darkness into my room.
Tip toe, tip toe, you did walk.
Not a sound, eerie did you come.
Thirst for my soul you embellished.

Upon my naked neck, chills gave.
Breathe upon the hairs of my soul,
Taunting my sleep, laughter cried.
Screech screech tiny voice whined.

Awake, awake sleep no more!
My eyes open not, fear lock closed.
Pillow drowning, at the hearts plea.
While wiggle not given, urge urge.

Frozen ice in your shallow veins.
Tempestuous smile upon the brow.
Avalanche of growls piercing night.
Breast torn open and heart taken.

Silence

Silence, silence gasp for something.
Hand, nor eye from heaven fell.
Mercy mercy upon my knees I lay.
Demons scavenge, cause not seen.

Morrow, where is thy mercy?
Weakened soul and redundancy.
Whilst in thy bed, sleep you have.
Where is thy empathy?

Soaked sheets tightly wrapped,
Embossed tears flood the night.
Upon my cheeks questions flow.
Where is thy mercy, where oh where?

A single night, visit not I plea.
Upon raw knees, head hung low.
Hands grasping at heavens skirt.
Tears departing the dry soul.
People breathe air
I breathe your love.
Away from you
I feel suffocated.
You are not only my life
You are a unique wife.
