Are you frightened by the night?

I'm frightened when I don't write
when I no longer have that will
to find a quill and a quiet corner.

There are an awful lot of words
in the dictionary
and
I'm always frightened that She'll
pick on me
if I use any of them more than once

but if I had wanted it easy
I'd have been a brain surgeon.

remember when you
hit bottom
the ground is where
the flowers of the future
must be planted

'm glad that I have forgiveness
I make so many mistakes
I walk at Great unforgiveness
I pray I have what it takes!

What it takes is love
what it takes is love
what it takes is love

Love is merciful. Love is kind
Love is give not take
Love has not an angry mind
Love Is Never fake

What it takes is love
What it takes is love
What it takes is love

Love forgets transgressions
Gives benefit of doubt
Love seeks not aggression
Love always wins out!

All You Need Is Love
All You Need Is Love
All You Need Is Love

Christian song
My inner vision's carrying me
To a boat on quiet seas
To a place where I can be
To a place where I am free
A place of such tranquility.

That little boat's been torn and tossed
In the storm I was so lost!
Then I knew the deadly cost
Satan brews a poison sauce...
Washed away upon the cross.

Now, free of iniquity
The scales washed so I can see
There is no "them" there's only "we"
Jesus died upon the tree
All is calm on port and lee

I have true tranquility.

Years pile up
like leaves

another winter
of
slumbering trees

The oranges
and
the rusts

oil me please
so that I
not yield
to dust

I sympathize
with the
trees and the wildlife,
left to survive
a Winter's
frost

they are the
strong,
the invincible
and on us,
that should never
be lost

I can only admire
God's strength
within them,
as I stand with
mouth agape

Nothing on this earth
has ever wowed me
more than ....

God's work
to date

The Concrete Poet

Leafless tree
Boughs and twigs
Folded in Namaste

Alive and green
The tree trunk young
Slightly bent

Part of a canopy
Of the tree lined road
It rests awhile

Seasons change
Some along with the weather
Cycle of change replete

Pradip Chattopadhyay:
“I think of death now, but more than that, the life I left behind.”

this is like gray hair,
one day, just there,
lower back pain, joins the train,
this retrospection inspection,
seasonal,
neither spring summer or winter,
just a unique fall,
like gray hair,
appearing slowly,
surprisingly unsurprising.

there is no wisdom herein,
just timed capsule release
decay.
the weaker the eyesight becomes,
the squinting routine,
we see every moment,
through a rearguard retreat.

did we win, or just
stalemate?
we cannot accept
the sense of lost,
so squint harder,
for looking ahead
is refused
for that is a neutral state,
facing backwards
is the only warranted
directive,
that you must, must
take to make hard
judgement.

Green reflections
Clouds of pollen
Butterfly mornings
Her face forms in summertime
She sells electric ego
And flowers of herself
Reaping the wild wind
From a haunted garden
