As storms rage in
Pouring the heaviest rains
Sending the loudest thunders
Clouding her feelings
As she sat alone
In her dull and dreary castle

Drop by drop
Floods of doubts engulf her
Sinking every piece of fer
Drowning her from her own sea of maybe's and what if's

Maybe it was just all a fantasy
Maybe it was just her and her loneliness
Maybe they were all the same?
Maybe it's another tragic ending?

What if she never got used of the tales?
What if she never had listened to his songs?
What if she never had opened her doors?

Where is he now?
Gone? Together with his coated promises?
Husssh. She's been here. It's okay
She knows the face of short-term happiness
And he's happy now
They all are.
And there she lies, empty
Forlorn and forgotten.

I fall to fast,
Crash to hard,
Forgive to easily,
And care to much

I can feel the wedge being driven between us.
But here we are.
Still talking and laughing,
Pretending it doesn’t sting when we talk
About a future where we want separate things.

But you won’t let me go
And I’m too dumb to figure out how
To grab the keys
And free myself from this prison.

Like a monkey with a math problem
I continue to sit and stare
At a blank page and broken calculator.

A broken mirror
A bleeding fist
A sliver blade against my wrist
Tears falling down on lips UnKissed
Ignore her and she won't exist
She's not the kind you will come to miss

I've always been a dreamer
Take a walk with me
I'll show you what it's like
To see colours so vivid, it attacks your senses
To picture stories that can entertain for hours
To make the world a canvas of your mind

You're down to earth.
Practical.
Pragmatic.
Rational.
Take me on a walk
I want to see the world through your eyes
You see the world as it is
Yet you find the beauty in it

Teach me your secrets and I'll teach you mine

Dark Smile
words have never been enough
to convey what's on my mind
i'll never tell you
what you should pay attention to is the pauses
between my fleeting
i'm okays and thank you for askings
if you listened closely
you may have heard
my cries
there is much said in the unspoken
if you looked closely you'd see the red ring around the area just below my elbow
i'd fallen asleep at my desk again
thinking
sobbing- that's something you'd have noticed if you saw the puffiness of my eyes
then you'd know i cried this morning too
you'd know that my smile
was a mere facade
and if you'd understood that
and if you listened close to my heart's thump
then you would have noticed the hum of suicidal thoughts running through my veins
coursing through my very being
feeding into every cell
ringing in my ears
like a mantra
like a death march
