Fifty years ago
to the month
that they laid
you in the ground

.
Only now
have I found
the words
to make a sound

.
You came home
closed coffin bound
Not suitable
to be viewed

.
Only now do I frown
Thinking about
the name in stone
that's hewed

.
That day you died
I was left to cry
I didn't know
what to do

.
Two teenage lives
both said goodbye
never
to be again

.
One under
21 gun salute
The other
under pain

.
They are
still burying you
in my mind
my time has been unkind

.
I've lived through
a thousand deaths
looking for reasons
to find

.
Resigned
I am bound
by the truth

Fearless
I sneak up behind and follow you near
my footsteps you will never even hear
I smell your scent and touch your hair
it's wild and tossed without a care
I've tracked you through this lonely night
thought once or twice to give you a fright
I laugh to myself at my own cleverness
but you're enticing me with your nearness
I have the power, I'm strong and fast
but somehow on me a spell you've cast
so now in your shadow I follow behind
trying to wrangle my nature to be kind
You're so delicious I cannot wait
as you stand next to the cemetery gate
so I step from the shadows and try not to smile
so maybe we can talk for a while
if I were to smile then you will just run
and for me that won't be any fun
I like to toy with my food 'fore I eat
not to treat you like you are just meat
After we've conversed for a little bit
and lured you down to talk and just sit
then I brush my hand across your slim neck
just one little bite, aw what the heck
the place where it beats, your heart in my hand
I pull myself back and I start to stand
then I see a strange look in your eye
and **** in an instant you take off and fly!
My night is all ruined, my hunting is done
turns out you were the one having fun
But then you fly back and you land in my arms
and again, I'm at the mercy of your many charms

We are two hearts
unafraid of the winter days,
For ours is an Autumn Love,
a new beginning,
we happily embrace.
Though the leaves have changed
and soon will fall,
Our Autumn Love turned fiery red
and yellow gold.
The warmth of our love,
so hopeful and new.
Like autumn, bright and colorful.
And as we begin to feel
the bite of the autumn air,
That signals that the harsh winter
is just around the corner,
We held hands and buried our fears
deep down the ground
beneath the fallen leaves.
We now carry within us the magic,
the promise of a new and vibrant love.
Forgiveness and love,
Love and forgiveness.
And I’m so glad, our hearts
found our way back home,
We’re just people,
We are people, beautiful in our fall.

Kafka Joint
There is such thing as too much reality,
For us to face,
In which Halloweens come and go,
But the horror stays.

Traveler
How quickly form mind
A memory slips
Dust in the winds
A careless wisp
Not even a trace
Of a loved ones kiss

But I was there
I held you close
Of all your love
Mine was the most
You left me behind
A scab less ghost

Out here in the ether
Fond memory seether
Sleep tight my love
For I'm with the Reaper
