In the crowded street,
a stumble, a twist,
my foot over the edge
of a forgotten crack.

Eyes blink, faces turn,
laughter hides behind hands,
and I, a moment caught
in slow-motion fall.

Heart racing like a drum,
I gather my dignity,
dust off my knees,
and smile through the blush—

a tiny trip in the dance of life,
reminding me,
we all wobble sometimes.
this is what goes through my mind when someone falls in public.

Turn coats on the run
Votes up in the air
Undecided everywhere
What will it take to cross the line?

Those who want to turn
Back the hands of Time
Leisurely Sit on their rocking chairs
Afternoons, a gentle breeze, sublime

Decades of time watching the sunset
We honestly no longer can say no regret
Optimism for our future, slowly fades
Reluctantly, we Turn another page

Our world is turned upside down
It’s precarious in our sleepy town
For fun, kids use to drive around
The last bit of fun that can be found

Gang violence overrun, tent cities
They don’t want American’s pities
A heinous Cold Civil War begun
Death to America Everyone

They Demand reparations our homes jobs
Third world Country behavior, Macabre
Noncitizens hell bent on nefarious intent
Ammunition spent police came and went

Situational awareness danger can be bad
Hazardous to fly the American flag
Reminiscent of the freedoms
We once had

Turning point in this world today
Down on our knees, we pray
What society will do to our kids
Satanic minions grasp first bids

Teaching kids today Little Jack Horner
Evil lurking behind every corner
Come out Come out, lets play
Not to worry it will be OK
You won’t be missed anyway

Mathematics is now racist they say
Slowly taking all our freedoms away
How could this possibly be? Well, Let’s see
(2+2 = 3 ) two plus two equals three

Dumb the children to submission
Using warped basic edition,
But why? First lesson NEVER question
I Will pay you $10 for a days work

I say $4  is ten all subserviently Believe
Old folk No Joke know they’re deceived
Younger generations obediently receive
Too many people in this world no reprieve

You will Own nothing and you’ll like it
Dystopian world rapidly grows submit
Older generations must be downsized
The beginning Eugenic’s selection demise

They keep the youth Trainable less Wise
Crazy but true read with communist eyes
******’s Mein Kampf, Marxist manifesto
History Books Bibles literature all must go

We live in a bubble play the fool
No more need for propaganda school
Not realizing We are in their control
Planned pandemics maintain the death toll

Down on our knees, we please
Obedient servants appease
We can recoup control slim margin of error
Americans looking in the face of terror

Ring around the Rosie
pocket, full of Posey,
ashes ashes, we all fall down
Death has come to our sleep town

Government media slaves, follow the maze
God can pull us out of this living hell
God Saves It’s too early to tell
Thank Him for the bounty blessing He gave

An Epic poem
Quatrain stanzas
A four line stanza
And epilogue

BLT Webster’s Word of the Day
Heinous 9-22-24
Describes acts or deeds that are hateful, shocking evil, or in other words, deserving of hate, or contempt
The stanza
When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall, and down will come baby cradle, and all
Folklore suggests
Ring around the Rosies
The itchy rash around infected sores of a person sick with the plague
Pocket full of posies
The flowers shower on the dead bodies to help with your order
Ashes ashes, they all fall down
We’re from the crematorium
burning, the dead body
And now we sing to our children, nursery rhymes

set in 2022 How is it they knew?
The Jetsons futuristic projections
Every detail pure perfection

George Jetson, father, Jane Jetson’s mother
Judy Jetson teenager, Elroy Jetson, bother
Astro Robo dog and the robot maid
Portrayed a futuristic family cartoon played

A push of a button Instant technology
George’s car folds into a portable briefcase
flying cars orbit city. chatterbox (phone)
Video calls, Smart watch, microwaves

If you look it up today critics would
Insist cultural bias gender stereotype.
Children watching the Jetsons cartoons
Call them a Loving Modern Family

In theory productivity gained from
Technology would mean less work.
A leisure Society by the year 2000.
Approbation to the creative creations

The motivations for this cartoon; our fears
the Soviet union would win the space race
Futuristic, optimistic cartoon influence, hopes popular culture. Shaping the future

How much would Society be shaped by technology, perceptions and expectations
What can be achieved are as important.
as what actually transpires, methodically

All that in Saturday morning cartoons
Glued to the TV kids over the moon
Dreams of possibilities of what if?
Children were taught to invent gadgets

Jetsons theme song, YouTube

Every time I gaze Upon this Scene,
It's like I'm living inside a dream
Those eyes,
What thoughts behind?
Oh
To see
Inside you're mind

Waters flow around you,
Course towards
Cold depths,
Distant sound of shallow breaths

Lifeline
Now
Thinning,
You're voice
Can be heard,
Still
Singing

Hands in abbhaya mudra position,
Flowers still held,
Fate has a mission

On you're journey,
No fear
Is
Shown,
Everyone gone,
Now
All alone

Lost love
Drove you to this,
The contract,
Has been sworn,
Not death
But reborn
Inspired by the paintings of John Everett Millais.
The abhaya mudra is a hand gesture that symbolizes protection, peace, and the dispelling of fear. It is also known as the "fearlessness gesture" because the word abhaya means "fearlessness" in Sanskrit.

Beyond worth
Knew it at a glance
Never had a chance
Verdict-stuck and public scorned
Hardly noticed, never mourned

Beyond hope
Always them to blame
Father was the same
Ruling-locked and villain stained
Nature surely deep ingrained

Beyond thought
Pointless waste of time
Never mind the crime
Cover-judged and rubber stamped
Name and image rumour-tramped

Beyond help
Judges sit unmoved
Felonies unproved
Stigma-sword to reputation
Vanished view of approbation

Beyond sight
Don’t avert your eyes
Recognise the lies
Tarnish-washed and shame-suspended
Approbates with hands extended
       Repeat until we’re justice-mended
