The perception of time is a humorous thing
So much depends on its tick-tock ticking
When did it start, when is its end?
How does it curve, where is its bend?

Ironic, that it seemingly lasts forever
Only to stop short our fragile life endeavor
Does time hold power to heal all wounds?
Those leftover are often scarred and bruised

Remembering these three things,
help me cope
It closes the gape of uncertainty,
tears and hope
Even though it may disappear,
it still happened
You may have concerns of reality,
they are valid

I think she would like to stop and pause too
This infinite round can exhaust even you
You can't tell time anything it wants to hear
It simply reaches midnight off the basis of fear

Connection sought over connection bought
Love yearned over love earned
Kindness given rather than kindness livin'
Happiness within rather than happiness driven

We seek Motives internal
We forgo Intent external
It is the pure rapt
That carries away the upside down frown
Authentic Transparency

A
Solid
A most
Beautiful tree
What about trees?
Who mediates for them?
Rich, tall, lush and green
Growing from a single stem
They're an example of raw life
They never seem to openly frown
But it's hard to sympathize
Cause they just let us cut them down
Down
Down
Down
Down

A tongue that lies now,
Still begs for your acceptance,
But lies to you still.

You drive attention to your fame
and then it dives into my veins.
A beauty that runs so deep
some nights I find it hard to sleep.

A flame inside gives off no smoke
this rain of poetry will choke.
Sweet in its time the seeds divine
grown in the garden of my mind.

No more gold no more empty curse
I can hear it through a lovely verse.
When the master decides to ease your pain
your sweet escape is on the highland train.

Restless wind covering my entire being
A dark shadow taking a seat next to me
Reads an excerpt from a book I'll never write
Don't think for me, I know who I am
When time asks me how it's been
I'll humbly reply, you were good for my heart
But often I begin to wonder
Could this really be all I had to give
Of course it is, and even if it wasn't enough
It was to me

When is it okay to stop feeling
Letting numbness take its course
And watching sentiment pass by
Rage I will not miss
Disturbance begs to be replaced
I give into fervor time and time again
Nothing seems to catch me
Except for the salty rain who invites itself
Don't compare it to anything great
It's more of a comedy than anything

I cannot say where I came,
If there's more to, or more of.
Never have I met the same,
Tells me I was built above.

By water tracks
Under attack
A ruthless act
Wearing matte black

There is no need for warped glass,
Blue skies will sure let me gaze.
Shouldn't let this vision pass,
It'd throw me back in the maze.

Open arms to the arrows whom gravitate,
Whisper of caution inspires me to wait.
Put a noose on words and acts I desired,
Leaves me craving, empty, famished and tired.
Routinely ignore these feelings of doubt,
Trust those to foster the passions drift out.
Exposed, left wondering the series to come,
Dammed and orphaned again, should've known.

Melodies from the sea,
they come forward and blow.
Scripts of words float like birds,
sometimes stub my big toe.
Flip the page of my rage,
leads me to a new home.
Understand this rogue man,
his words won't leave you lone.
Rhythm speed feeds your need,
leaving happy and free.
Gives me court and support,
like the spine of a tree.

I’ll give you undeserved second chances
I’ll give you my tears when you give me yours
I’ll be the one happy for your victories
I’ll be the one grateful for your scars
I’ll let you set the pace
I’ll let you know if anything changes
I’ll make you a believer
I’ll make better mistakes tomorrow
You’ll want me on your team
