the empty bottles under your bed prove how many times i was never there for you
and how you needed me instead of a handle of peppermint *****
but I wish you would've told me you bought a bottle from your boyfriend because if you had I would've been able to keep you from puking the feelings you've pushed to the darkest parts of your body,
but you thought it would help to think of Christmas but those red satin ribbons are supposed to be tied around presents
not draped across your wrists
and I'm so sorry that you couldn't feel it when I said I loved you because
****,
i do i do i do.

Creep
Stay off the streets,
stay inside,
don't make contact with anything or anyone.
There's a terrible virus going around,
it climbs through your veins,
crawls into you every thought,
and drives you mad from the inside out...
This thing will render you useless,
making your legs like jelly, your mouth and tongue bloated,
your stomach twisted.
It calls for you to talk to others, even if you can't,
to spread the virus around
with words,
actions.
It craves the touch and interaction of others.
Stay off the streets,
it's coming to get you,
it will tear you apart,
and you won't ever be able to get back up again.
inspired by frank ruland's "**THIS IS AN EMERGENCY BROADCAST**" poem.
can you guess what the virus is?
eww i need to edit it....ill come back to it later....

Turning on the T.V, you see a beautiful woman
Standing up, proud and straight.
You look down at your not-so-perfect self,
And your heart fills with hate.

You’re not like that woman,
But you’re beautiful just the same.
You have beauty where she doesn’t
Internal beauty is what you can claim.

If only you could see it,
You’d know your beauty too.
Unfortunately, society has brainwashed us
Into not loving people like you.

If I could change the world
We wouldn’t have to have waists of a centigram.
And I’d have the cute guys love me
For who I am- not what I am.

So look at yourself,
You’re beautiful just like me.
Loving yourself is the right path;
Confidence is the key.
When your heart remembers

When the heart remembers
What you want to forget
The pain felt inside
Is not over yet

You push it down
And say it's not there
It grows in your heart
And you say you don't care

But the hurt is still real
Not just in your head
The sorrow is seen
In tears that are shed

When your heart remembers
What you want to forget
The pain felt inside
Is not over yet

Love and time are two
relatively tied
concepts that you and I
are no longer
aligned with.*

Summer feels like
yesterday to me
(you see, I still
dream of you, as much
as I don't wish to),

and for you,
summer feels like a holiday
vacation that ended
a week too short
when the storm came early
and the clouds covered
up the sun, yet -

faintly, you remember
the warmth of the beach
and the familiar
touch of the water against
your feet/
faintly, you remember
me,

and too often, I toss
against you
in my sleep - wrestling
with these memories.
