Don't let my mother's love choke me to the bone.
Promise me you won't weep on my silver coloured grave stone.
Remember your my king on the throne. Lay me down
on gentle earth. My skin will be weeping with a joy I can't
keep in. Tell me you are mine and I'm yours. I know the love
we share is dark against the moon. Promise me you'll kiss the cracks on my lips while their redder than a shepherds warning. Hold me tight so I don't feel the fright . I'll meet you again in the afterlife I promise I'll still be your wife. We'll find the spot where our hearts were buried and the skies will still look like cotton candy blue. Through grave stone fields and wilted weeds you'll feel me floating by your side watching over you. As I gasp for the last breath ill look at you with a crooked smile saying I told you darling I would die for you ~

Funny how a photograph can pump blood
I only have one of you, it isn't mine
it sits here backlit
shared with all that would gladly drown in those mischief eyes.
Your smile, a moment of calm, a second of perfection caught, always brings my own.
There is no beauty like yours, no work of art has ever made me want to overflow with passion the way you do. I could write countless poems, a thousand odes to your dimples, a million sonnets to your curls, a billion lovesongs to your eyes to no avail. So I'll laugh at your jokes, and be a sturdy shoulder, a friend.  I'll wish the best for you always, while your heart keeps my secret safe. Poets shouldn't fall in love with the unloved, there aren't enough words to describe the agony.

We take things for granted.
Everyone tries to appreciate things more.
Money, life, family.
But what about the simple beauty of a sunset?
The sun is appreciated when it arrives
after the rain is laid on the earth.
Yet,
no one ever says thank you for a beautiful sunset.
The soft colors all melting into each other.
The sun has gifted us another day,
but you do not thank it at the end.
Next time you are watching the sunset--
on the beach,
in the office,
from your kitchen window.
Do not be sad because the day
has come to an end.
Just whisper thank you.
These basic words
hold a world of meaning.
Thank the sun for setting.
Do not take it for granted,
for one day,
it will all be gone.
Thank the sunset.

I read the writing
on your broken wall.
Though like scribbled graffiti,
the message was quite clear
& I will not be here
when your sun rises.
You will miss me.

my wet hair is slicked across my shoulders

it's liquid in the wind flipping out the car window in an unkown city

my eyes are bloodshot and burning like acid from my mistakes

the emerald of my eyes catches the light of a hundred moons

my body lies in twisted sheets and stained pajamas in a tiny bed

but my heart lies in another world where my adventure know no bounds
