In the poetry of Manzil Neil Poud'Ar

“ She is leaving ”

This is the same old City
of Memories, we shared
I heard you are leaving this city
This one you didn't even think to Share

The road we used to pass by is now calling
Asking how long it will be waiting
To hear all those laughs and giggles again
Watching us dancing with joy in the rain

A surprise visit to that lamp post
where we spent our time most
It is now empty, dark and full of rust
Asking us to visit and revive it's robust

Leaves are scattered on the ground
Not knowing which way is up and down
Falling from that same old tree
where we wrote our names with low key

Like cigarettes and city smoke
Now I am more and more broke
Setting myself fade into the air
Please stay! Wishing for it in my Prayer
