"Friends forever,"
Something worth to endeavor.

But what if
Life gets in the way;
And words spoken no longer weigh;
And distances just makes
The well-baked cakes
Go sour?

What if
You realize that you're alone;
And the birds sing a melancholy tone,
Perhaps it's better
To run than to chatter;
To save yourself from attachments
So you won't endure detachments.
Just tell them
your poetry
is now for
someone else.
I hope you
never find
someone
like me

Because then
you will find
another person you
can call
Perfect.
Stupidity tastes surprisingly like guilt.
I think I've made a fool of myself. Hopefully not a big one.

We live in a world of imperfect people
expecting to find someone perfect

It just doesn't work.
