There are many different types of fear.
Most fears are selfish.
Like the paralysingly horror of your own death,
The strange ominousness of being alone at night.
We're often afraid of the inflicted on our own emotions and our own bodies.
Sometimes it’s impossible not to be afraid.

But even worse than this was the fear for others.
It’s when you love somebody more than you love yourself that their danger frightens you.
And I had endured this fear more than once.

I have been afraid and still am afraid.
Ominousness.
Looming spectre,
Illuminated by the cast
lights of fanaticism

Abstraction.
Looming absurdism,
distorted by the stained glass
of your personal apocalypse.

Consumption.
*******, ravage-ly appearing spectre.
From the mouth of serpents.
From the blood of a bat.

The world cries 'alas' in a throaty bellow,
The spectre dancing in rhythm to the melody of the chaos.
The melody of plague building the roads of conquest.

The many faced spectre drifts across the blue,
eyeing the masses.

This abstract ominous consumption of hope.
Swallower of light.

The spectre walks on water.

We are in the caste net.

The misalignment of veins in my mind—
Its unsettling ominousness
Taints like a spilt coffee on white cloth—
A disgrace to my well-being!

The distant touches of my fingers
Leave fractured sensations in me,
Only on your command can tether
This upset equilibrium.

The depravity of will and thoughts
Born from its barren womb;
Whales swim in the sky, birds in the sea
How nurtured you are in me!
