Being over 18 doesn't make you 'grown' it's just a number your time on earth
So I'm not 'Grown' but neither are you
Having a job doesn't make you 'Grown' it just makes you overly busy
So I'm not 'Grown' but neither are you
Being graduated from high school or college doesn't make you 'Grown' it just makes you irrelevantly accomplished
So I'm not 'Grown' but neither are you
Having a 'man' or Husband doesn't make you 'Grown' it just makes you loveable
So I'm not 'Grown' but neither are you
Not being a ****** doesn't make you 'Grown' it just makes you experienced in being gross and nasty
So I'm not 'Grown' but neither are you
Being pregnant and not keeping track of the 'BabyDaddy's'
Definitely doesn't make you 'Grown' it just means you a THOT
So I'm not 'Grown' but neither are you
Having Children and keeping them and yourself alive (which you haven't done) doesn't make you 'Grown' it just means you weren't prepared with birth control or condoms
So I'm not 'Grown' but neither are you
Being tough and threatening a 'child' as you call me doesn't make you 'Grown' it just means you're stupid and talk to much how about action and if not SHUT Up

Using four letter words in aggression doesn't make 'Grown' it just makes all that bragging you did about graduating seen unimportant and pointless

None of the crap you do or are doing doesn't make you 'Grown' at all
Even bringing up the lie that you are 'Grown' makes you immature and not good at arguments or come-backs

oh how they've grown. how i've grown. time passes in slow motion or in decades at a time. and oh how they've grown. how i've grown. exhaustion lixiviates memories stained with emotion and faded fantasies. tears leach anguish in oxidized tracks of pain. and with time comes wisdom, or so it would seem. because oh, how they've grown. how i've grown.
privileged emotions
honored with joy, hope, love, pain
in an endless faunt
oh how they've grown. how i've grown. inches and miles, torment and smiles, but oh how they've grown. how i've grown. through time and travels, between the lines and written in bold. oh how they've grown, how i've grown
crossing paths in time
blessed to experience truth
throughout the journey
oh how they've grown. how i've grown. timeless hearts through the birth of stars. longing to share time in bits and pieces of eternity to see, oh how they've grown, how i've grown. and here, in this very moment, growing like weeds in summer, encompassed in the vastness of all things waxing eternal.
all by leaps and bounds
naked in time standing still
lifetimes in seconds
and oh how they've grown....how i've grown
privileged emotions
honored with joy, hope, love, pain
in an endless faunt

If I was a kid I never know what
If I was a kid I never say not
If I was a kid I fight the lot
If I was a kid I cry to forgot
If I was a kid I wonder why
If I was a kid I look in the sky
If I was a kid I see no light
If I was a kid the mighty fright
If I was a kid I never not know
If I was a kid how would I show
If I was a kid the day of grow
If I was a kid my bike would blow
If I was a kid I see no why
If I was a kid the stars in the sky
If I was a kid to paint my life
If I was a kid I’d push in the knife
I’m now grown up little and low
I’m now grown up still not to know
I’m now grown up questions I ask
I’m now grown up about my past
I’m now grown up to see what’s there
I’m now grown up to speak where
I’m now grown up inside I care
I’m now grown up begins the stare
I’m now grown up to fight the days
