Storm clouds kiss tenderly
The mountains that pierce the sky.
A source of life to which green grows
Falls, hurtling to their life's end.

But what is time to a drop of rain?
Born of the cumulonimbus,
Soaks to the ground where bodies lay.
Where bodies decay...

To answer this, wade to a pool.
Fingertips brushing, causing waves
On the flat, calm surface.
It's time is never ending.

Where death brings it's savagery.
Where it takes hold and rots,
Newness is born from roots of evergreens.
Fallen as the spirits that came before.

How can you be so naive,
To believe there is an end?
Rain drops mixed with stardust.

That is all that walks, breathes and conceives.
It only takes a look around you to find the answers to the questions you scream at the sky.
When good turns into bad,
Life is going to become terribly sad.

When day turns into night,
The sun dies - it can no longer
Shine bright.

When night turns into day,
Don't expect the moonlight to stick around
And light your path's way!

When right becomes wrong,
You must try to stay strong!

When wrong turns into right,
Try to switch-on your inner-strength -
Hopefully, it will be your guiding light.

When hope turns into fear,
Remind yourself that God is near.

When fear takes hold of hope,
You're only human...
Cut the !#!*# ****** rope!

A song from 7 years ago
Started playing on the radio
And without even realizing it
I was singing all the words

I wonder if we're like that song
No matter how many years pass between us
I will still know all the words to the song of your body
And be able to sing along

I'm not a very good at explaining things.

But I do have amazing ideas I'd love to share.

But I'm not good at explaining.

From my window I gazed on a lily
That had been denied rain and sun,
Always looking heavenward with trust,
Pleading for mercy . . . but finding none

From my window I watched a grieving bird --
Strong gales had swept over her nest,
In vain, she called to her loving mate . . .
Morning found his tattered wings at rest

From my window I observed a woman,
Lonely tears channeling her face,
Every day she walked her path alone,
Feeble and unsteady in her pace

A reassuring word might sustain her,
As I hastened to draw nearer,
It was only then I realized
That I was looking in my mirror

The slighted lily, the forsaken bird,
How devious the mind can be!
My own pain, so cleverly disguised
Fills my mirror, staring back at me

From my window I watch life passing by,
O, these eyes, how they have deceived!
But blessed are they who cannot discern
What is certain from what is perceived
