He made me
Believe we could
Live Forever;

But turns out
Our naive love
Couldn't either.
-- D. J .Syngai ©2016
Let me be,
As God intended me to be:
Neither a wicked elf,
Nor a fairy godmother,
Never a demon,
Nor an angel,
But a true woman,
Oh! No, not the ‘Phenomenal Woman’
Of Maya Angelou,
Drawing a hive of honey bees round
‘With the span of my hips
Or the stride of my steps’
But,
One with a loving heart,
Calm and caring
Though at times touchy and itchy

A gracious host and a helpful neighbor
Able to stand in my own light
And lessen the darkness of the night

An abiding spouse
In whom my man can see
An ocean of love in my dewy eyes
And feel the steady warmth of my grip
When the seas of life grow stormy,

For my children, an adorable mother
In whom they can confide,
Their doubt, despair or delight
A counselor, a friend and guide
With the balm to heal their wounds
Touch and move their spirits
And show them the miracle of love

Piecing together these different roles
Let me, into a close knit texture weave
The fabric of my life!
Like the interlacing threads
Of a great tapestry!

In a way, is not living the art of quilting
Bringing out unique patterns
Of exquisite beauty and delight
From the scraps thrown in our way!

Some seek solace temporary and when they get bored they leave abruptly. Some expect honestly from you and keep throwing lies on your face. Some talk about rules and regulation but they themselves follow not. Some fool you. Some make fun of you.  Some have a give and take relationship and always expect a lot.
Some get hurt by even a forward and dont communicate for ages.
Some just want appreciation but will never give when the time come.
And some simply block you or unfriend you.

Respect their decision from my heart but if the same had to be done, why come close and near.
Why not  be honest in expressing their opinion after the relationship goes more stronger and just leave and move on.
In United Arab Emirates' land,
In a kingdom of the golden sand,
There dwells a generous humble king
To whose kindness all mortals sing:
"What a kingdom the last fair and free,
What a King as gentle as a halcyon sea,
What a realm, what a mighty paradise
Unmarred by mist of prejudice,
For every person's race is worth,
Such, such a wonderland on earth!"

In United Arab Emirates' land,
In a Kingdom of the golden sand
Where there are lofty towers,
Towers thrice fairer than wild flowers,
A realm where greenery once rarely seen
But now resplendent in emerald green
By whom aI wonder the magic, the art,
For the creator used to mold his heart
That renders despaired men wings to fly,
Glance upon rainbows of hope in the sky.

In United Arab Emirates' land,
In a kingdom of the golden sand,
There clouds of harmony and peace
Float on forever for all eyes to see,
See the wit and wisdom of a humble king
To whom may we garlands bring!
He whose good deeds shall stream by forever
Like as silvery waters of the Nile river,
Yet, eternally as the ancient star's glow,
Or the merry winds that ever blow
From eastern shores to the western clime,
So shall his glory transcend through time,
Echoing a courteous, gracious King whom
I'm proud to call, "Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum."
Written not so many moons ago on knowing the Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was to pass by Emirates Flight Catering, a place where I used to work but due to some hindraces, I couldn't deliver my tribute. Now that there's no chance of ever meeting Him, let me whisper it upon the rolling tides of Hellopoetry hoping it'll ever reach Him.
A sea of thoughts
Drowned  in the ocean
A cruise ship with lifeguard words
Sailed past with the crew
Drenched in diamonds
The Soaked silken necklace
Jewels of Nature
Nature makes its own art .
So, explain to me then,
why art thou concerned about my pen?
When, if ever, has it stroked
against thee sin? Or any of thou kin?
What have i done to offend that
to my business thou should attend?
I write only to transcend those who would **** and condemn.
In the hope that all would
comprehend i pen in love not to condescend but to make all... my friend.

How thou might see it...well that depends.
