Trench foot which paralyzes me below
Those many rooms
Full of people
Yet so very empty
Morphine and  woman dressed in bloodstained white

I hear there words
"You want to  live"
And all I hear is
"You don't want to  die alone"

I question each cup of wine I am not sown
Where is the device buried deep inside
Shrapnel which keeps my body numb
Emptiness which keeps my mind alone

Perhaps today and tomorrow have already become one
World War Disease
