My eyes always studying
Preoccupied and distracted

The useless talk
The nod of the head
The noise
The silence
The quick glances
The secret stares

Your walk, your talk
Every inch of the way you move
Your smile
Your laugh
Blank expressions
Vacant eyes
Deep in thought

I never once thought
this day will come
to hear the news
then wait for the day
