I stumbled,
And I fell down a dark hole.
I ended up with plenty of bruises,
As I hit the jagged edges on the walls.
I fell for a very long time.
But,
I finally hit the bottom.
It was the worst pain-
I had ever experienced.
But all that mattered-
Was that I was alive.
