Recovered Fragments: Reconstructed Papyrus 30
The Stranger:
''Ah behold,
A fresh new soul,
Far from old,
Joins us within
Sheol.''
''Some pass peacefully,
Others don't, sadly,
How did thine untimely
Demise, come to be?''
The New Soul:
''Sewn around my arteries
Was life,
Keeper of my organs.''
''But my body laboured
No more,
When sorrow guided
My
Feeble hands to severe
My core cords,
Hidden insideΒ Β
My
Scarred wrists.''
