A blank canvas He had.
He grabbed his brush
with all the paints He wanted
and He was in no rush.

He grabbed a beige
and created a heart-shaped face.
Then a light brown
for strands around the space.

Long and hard He thought
but couldn't decide.
So He chose both blue and gray
for the ocean waves in her eyes.

A well rounded nose
and teeth pearly white.
So her smile could
make the world so bright.

In just a snap,
after God had painted.
The masterpiece was done
and I was created.
