Her bare-feet slapping on the pavement.
The moon shone down on her.
The stars twinkled.
Her laugh echoed through the empty street,
Her curls flying behind her head as she ran.
The light trapped in her flew out,
Lighting everything around her.
Screaming in laughs,
She felt free.
You could see.
That just for a second.
She had wings.
