Amid the madness-
the pretending to be alright,
and the different facets of me-
there are two sentences,
two haunting phrases
that connect my disjointed soul-

"How could I have been so wrong?"

and

"I should have known better."
An old poem from about a year and a half ago that I had totally forgotten about until now.
