The song of a magpie
Brings special memories to me
Staying at Nana's house
The sound of the sea
My sister & I
our cousin Johnny
Playing chaseyΒ Β
Hide and seek
The wind in our hair
There were gardens of roses
Pathways everywhere
Summers always mild
You could feel the ocean breeze
Wanting to play more
When Nana called us
in for tea
Hugs from Nana
As we were tucked in tight
Into our beds to sleep for the night
I love to hear the Magpies sing
And appreciate the beautiful memories they bring
Memories  from when I was around
5 or 6yrs
