I. back when i was fresh as the sweet summer air love was the boy next door who'd cycle round and round in the park which my window overlooked
II. when the chilled leaves blew through the open front door that autumn love was the boy with big glasses and open books from which he'd read to me while we sat on the wooden swing on my porch
III. bitter winds and chattering cold winter brought with is an ache in my bones love was now the boy a dying heart he ****** at me to keep him warm while the snowflakes kissed my blue lips
IV. but, oh! when those flowers bloomed and the breeze of spring smelt of second chances love walked in with a mind full of stars and a twinkle in his eye we spent the night exploring the galaxies
V. the sun peeked out this year after a year long sleep, to warm my day this summer, he looked at me and my spring love & smiled- because this time, *love was here to stay.
love takes a million different forms when you're growing up; and after the long journey, finding the right person is sweeter than any field of honeysuckles
