You had her innocent heart, a white dove
You demons couldn't starve her love
Even now i don't think it has dampened?

I will never understand what you did
She gave herself to you, she gave her time
Her soul without yours couldn't abide
But you left for fool dreams laying ahead?

I will never understand why you lost it?
She is made of stars and tamed beasts
If I were to dust her heart for fingerprints,
I'm sure the only ones there will be yours
Even amongst her gardens and wild things,?
Even past parts locked behind closed doors??

I will never understand why you left her?
