Poems
Mar 2016
strong woman
Today I woke up heavy
though I knew I felt empty
the way gravity has no pounds
but still weighs everything down
And I wanna say I'm crazy
because delusion can be easy
I'd like to say I'm wrong
See, I'm too much like mom
I'll stay strong through her memory
through waves of sorrow plenty
I know I feel her love
she says 'getting better starts within us'
