All damp of the first Spring rain
Raises life of wood and leaf to be
The sun is their life and it is theirs
A pale light to drown the shadow
The star that sings to the fresh soil
Plants of all different first grow

All shine of the first Summer light
It shall bring forth the blossom of prime
The flowers blanket fields with colour
Trees grown with shields of green
Crops are born to serve the shepherds
A Summer's day is a day in the heavens

A crack of twilight through the clouds
An incoming cool arrives the Autumn
The red, yellow and brown are the colours
They coat the leaves with an age of old
The trees grow weary with fallen branches
Plants first retract with the air's first chill

The cold white of Winter breezes
The plants sleep under snow sheets
Frigid gales grant death to the weary
So the green life may start anew
In the earth's spin of weathers
White fields shall guard until their end
