A lantern in the night.
A sword in the dark,
I hear a sound,
but I will not dart.

The mission is too clear,
there is too much at stake.
I will continue down this road,
and I will accept my fate.

The dead rise around me,
but I won't say a word.
They walk with me,
assembled in a herd.

The glow of my light guides them,
through the silver maze.
I will be the first out,
I will get out of this daze.
