In this ice cold jungle,
I followed a cat
Across metal tree trunks and
carpets of grass

A fluorescent sun
hung amongst ceilings of sky
To wonder at THIS

is to wonder at
WHY?

Unheard and unseen, enveloped

(solitary)

You’d think that a JUNGLE
would not be so

scary?
