And here you are
After all these years
After all the dreadful waiting
Here you are.
You have waved to me as if you have known me from before
As if you would fill in the blanks in my sentences
As if you would read my mind.
As if you would free me from isolation
And here you were
Bidding as if you’ve said farewell before
As if you already finished my sentences
As if you have read deeper into my mind
As if you have freed me from myself and from the world
After all, it was such a long wait.
And I’ll always be waiting.
