Dancing on silver shoes
Bathed in scarlet stars
And we smile through clenched teeth
For we could never speak

The ones who dare come to shore
Ones struggling to see
Those of a blessed soul and a cursed past
Ones who almost saw the stars

But the brain has yet bleed
And the skull has not cracked
Hearts continued for playful rhythm
Souls not solid blackΒ Β

Crackling for dear
Bloodshot fear
Damaging an ever beauty
Of this **graceful dance
